Introduction: Czech Post is an organized government unit. On January 1, 1925, the Ministry of Postal Economic Management was established and began to follow similar rules applicable to private enterprises. The postal reform service quickly turned companies into losses and continued into the era of global economic crisis. On January 1, 1993, the highest-level government resolution stipulated that Czech Post formally transformed into a state-owned enterprise. This resolution allowed Czech Post to develop for the second time and prove its viability to survive in a market economy environment.
