Introduction: As a signatory of the Universal Postal Union, Seychelles insists on providing convenient and affordable basic postal services to the public. It is said that the first letter was secretly sent to Europe as early as 1824, but the first post office was not really established until 1861. Today, Seychelles' new postal bill has replaced the 1803 postal bill. On a global scale, over the past 10 to 15 years, postal services across the country have undergone drastic reforms. Seychelles Post hopes to provide reliable, affordable and safe postal services for every family and every unit so that they can better communicate and trade with people and units in other parts of the world.
