[highway]: Chad has a total length of 33,400 kilometers, of which 524 kilometers are asphalted roads, and most roads can only pass through in the dry season.

[Waterway transportation]: Chad is mainly concentrated in the Shali River and Logon River, with a total length of 4,830 kilometers of inland waterways, of which 2,000 kilometers can be navigable in all seasons. To go to sea, transshipment is required via the Port of Douala in Cameroon (1,500 kilometers from N¡¯Djamena) or Port Harcourt in Nigeria (1,700 kilometers from N¡¯Djamena).

France, Cameroon, Libya, Sudan and Ethiopian Airlines have regular flights to Chad. In February 2004, the former Chad Airlines changed its name to "Toumai Air Tchad", operating routes in Central Africa and the Middle East, and operating the N'Djamena-Paris route in cooperation with Air France.
