Introduction: Zambia Post is a public postal operator established by Congress Act and authorized to provide postal express services. And its history can be traced back to the first post office established in Abercorn in 1896. In 1926, the Zambia General Post Office was approved to join the Universal Postal Union. The Postmaster General is the chief executive officer of the company. The company has a management team of five senior managers, namely, operations director, human resources director, director and finance, company secretary and legal counsel, and internal audit director. The government of the Republic of Zambia owns 100% of Zambia Post.
